We are professional Survivor Leaders in the Indianapolis area. Each team member has first-hand experience working in the adult industry, leading professional teams and organizations, and/or counseling, mentoring, and discipling those exiting the industry.
Sarah has been living in freedom for twenty years and has been giving back since 2012.
Sarah Hurley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Indianapolis with a degree in Organizational Leadership and worked in the corporate world directing various teams in the U.S. and India in Operations, Compliance, and Risk Management at JP Morgan Chase and Defender Direct for more than a decade.
In 2011, she left the corporate world and started a nonprofit ministry called Kristy’s House, which served adult women desiring to leave the commercial sex trade. An overcomer, herself, of addiction, abuse, and sexual harm, Sarah saw a gap in direct service provision and expertise for adult women with the same struggles. Sarah received a Voices for Victims award in 2015 from Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller for her work at Kristy’s House., which was acquired by Ascent 121 in October 2017.
Passionate about learning and teaching, Sarah studied under Dr. Dan Allender at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and also obtained certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
Sarah’s corporate background, nonprofit ministry experience, education, and personal testimony, put her in a unique position to serve in her latest role as President of The White Stone Project, LLC., a for-profit, survivor-leader business offering professional training, public speaking, and consulting services. It is Sarah’s hope that the White Stone Project will help cast a wider net by equipping direct service providers, businesses, churches, non-profits, and more to make a positive, sustainable impact in the lives of those suffering from complex trauma and sexual harm.
